It’s out with the old presses!

it’s a day for change!

Over the next couple of days, we are installing a new HP Indigo 7900, an 8 colour digital press that will revitalise all our printed work. Gold, silver, white and indichrome inks will be available to use. But, as with any new venture, there is the messy, painful bit of getting rid of the old machinery. We currently run 2 HP Indigo 5000’s, so they both need to be decommissioned, but seperately, so we don’t have any downtime with our print schedules.

Out with the old and in with the new.

There will be lots of work for the engineers, but it will be worth it. Our print technicians are currently busy being trained on how to use the new HP Indigo 7900. At their specialised courses they are learning how to best use the new presses. They will know all the processes and all the new technology. We will be up and running with the new presses and a head full of new ideas of how to use them by next week.
